About Us

Gilley's Diner is located in beautiful downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire at 175 Fleet Street, between the Hanover Parking Garage and the J.J. Newberry building. Be sure to stop by for some hand cut fries and our famous burgers when you are in town!

Gilley's Diner
History

Gilley's is named after longtime employee Ralph "Gilley" Gilbert. Gilley served dogs and burgers from the diner's tiny kitchen for over five decades. An icon in Portsmouth history, Gilley was known for his flawless memory, kindness, and generosity.
